ABOUT US

Beth

For many years I have found myself fascinated with Van Life; living vicariously through others who shared their adventures on YouTube and social media. The idea of minimising everything, packing up and travelling wherever my heart desires became my biggest dream and ambition. When I first became friends with Zak in 2019, I told him all about my dreams and desires to convert a van into a tiny home and travel the world in it, a dream I hadn’t shared with many people through fear of sounding delusional. Thankfully though, Zak loved the idea and now only a few years later here we are, together, converting our minibus into a tiny home to take on our travels and documenting it through the good life.

My journey into this “alternate” lifestyle began when I had a gap year from university back in 2017. This gap year wasn’t planned, but I kind of lost my motivation and purpose a little (oops!). Looking back, it was the best possible thing for me at the time. It forced me to think of alternate options for work and my lifestyle in general, and from this I began rekindling old interest of mine, video, photo and audio production. These old interests turned into a business, and now I’m using all of those skills I’ve developed to document mine and Beth’s adventures and progress in finally converting a van into our dream home!

I have a passion for travel, writing/producing music and everything camera related!

I grew up being constantly outdoors, whether that was camping with my family or out causing some kind of harmless trouble with friends.

Music plays a huge part in my life, a lot of my free time is taken up writing for my solo music and my band. Playing music has led me to consistent touring around the UK and Europe with various bands. Through touring with different bands I found my love for being on the road and exploring new places and cultures. I even plan on building a tiny recording studio into our van!

Layla

and this is Layla, a Mercedes Sprinter Minibus. Born in 2005, she lived a busy life as a council minibus before being adopted by us in March 2022. She is current being transformed into a beautiful home on wheels so we can travel far and wide.
